Pillar Hall is a Grade II listed Olympia landmark for restaurants, bars and entertainment - home to the Modern British Idalia, the jazz-and-rock-soaked Pepperbird speakeasy, and Upstairs at Pillar Hall for live music and private events. Opening 30th March 2026.

Open all day from breakfast through lunch, afternoon tea and evening dinner, Idalia occupies the ground floor of the beautiful Grade II* listed Pillar Hall. Our chefs Samantha Williams and Lorena Tommasi cook dishes using produce from some of our favourite and finest British suppliers, while our wine list celebrates some of the most exciting wineries in England. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, Idalia also showcases live soul and jazz.

Coming soon! Upstairs at Pillar Hall is a striking double-height space with a spectacular mezzanine. Open for private events during the week, Upstairs evolves into a restaurant with live music on Fridays and at weekends. Once home to one of the UK’s first cinemas and Vivienne Westwood’s debut catwalk show, the room has history!

Tucked beneath Pillar Hall, Pepperbird is a speakeasy inspired by Olympia’s jazz and rock heyday of the 60s and 70s.
